Racialicious reader Jeremy Helton from StoryCorps, inspired by the R’s post on how Hollywood kept feeling the need to show its collective ass to Oscar nominee Quevenzhane Wallis on her big night, sent us this really great short called “Facundo the Great.” Said Jeremy, the vid’s greater message is “how institutions intentionally or unintentionally commit cultural micro-aggressions when it comes to the names of people of color, especially young people who are often most vulnerable.”
